The music blends together into one (kinda catchy) track that you will likely tune out fairly quickly. Music and graphics are a pretty generic affair.īut these kinds of games don’t really rely on those aspects and tend to focus more on the strange gameplay mechanics. The latter are among the more difficult deliveries. There’s standard deliveries in which you must deliver the package in the allotted time, fragile deliveries in which you try to get the package to the destination without damaging it too much, and red hot rush deliveries where the time limit is even more restricting. There are parcel stations spread around the world that serve as your “missions.” Walk up to one, flip the switch, and get the package to its destination as quickly or as safely as possible. It’s essentially a giant playground, which I really dig. From your basic delivery truck and utility cart to motorboats and booster rockets, you have everything you need to deliver across land, sea, and air! You have several vehicles (which also have rather unwieldy controls) at your disposal to help you get the parcels from point A to point B. The controls are VERY unwieldy, but much like Human Fall Flat, Octodad, and other physics-based games, that’s the main gimmick and wherein lies the challenge. You play as a newly hired unnamed delivery person who is dropped into an open-world full of tornadoes, explosions, rockets, helicopters, and steam blasting manholes. Ever wondered what it would be like to have absolutely no control over your extremities while trying to deliver parcels? Well, wonder no more, my faithful readers! We’re Five Games and tinyBuild Games make that dream a reality with Totally Reliable Delivery Service!
